Good video converter to convert .MTS files and export to final cut pro?

Usually, the most suitable video format for Final Cut Pro is MOV. The recorded AVCHD footages is not recognised by Final Cut Pro. My suggestion is to convert avchds to final cut pro friendly mov format. There do have many best converters on the market, a recommended one is called aneesoft avchd video converter.
